Have I mentioned how much I love weddings at Chateau Lill? This venue is so dynamic and versatile that each time I work there, it is a whole new experience
(see: S&C’s Italy-inspired day, and A&J’s colorful celebration)!

T&P’s August wedding was no exception - this gorgeous day began with a ceremony at St. James Cathedral, followed by cocktail hour in the Chateau Lill forest, dinner under the dreamy terrace tent, and cake + dancing inside the chateau. Each aspect of the day was thoughtfully curated by T, including the long dinner tables - draped in La Tavola velvet linens and adorned with taper candles, floral arrangements by the ever-talented Grace & Blooms, and gorgeous calligraphed accents by Euni & Co. Logistically? A piece of cake with the all-star team T&P chose to carry out their vision (Blue Box Bakery cake, to be exact ;))!

Though most of my work was with T (who felt way more like a friend than a client at the end of it all), I knew as soon as I saw T&P together that this was a match made in heaven. I am truly so grateful to have been a part of such a beautiful occasion for these beautiful people!

Italy-Inspired Vineyard Wedding | Chateau Lill | S&C

Okay, so first of all, let's just get it right out in the open that S&C are essentially models and I'm the first to admit that I may have overdone it with their portrait shots because literally every. single. one. is. stunning. Also, let's just acknowledge/have a moment of silent awe re: S' dress. Great, moving on.

The best part about working with this couple was their love for each other - S&C always came to meetings together and always carefully made every decision together. The way they looked at each other was really really real and every single person at their wedding was literally bursting with happiness that these two were tying the knot. Their connection was palpable and they are genuine life partners through and through.

On top of working with such a "head over heels" couple (my fav type), they had a seriously unreal aesthetic vision. They opted to say their vows in the Chateau Lill forest, standing on a bed of rose petals, with candles lining the log behind them. They ate + toasted at gray-clothed, family-style tables, adorned with leafy garlands filled with pink and white flowers, under a tent strung with sparkly lights. And don't even get me started on their desserts... a small, 1-tier cutting cake, surrounded by dozens of Italian-themed desserts + eucalyptus. They truly brought Italy to Washington and it was such an honor to be a part of it all.

Favorite Décor Elements: the Italian-esque aesthetic - from the vineyard chairs, to the Italian-style menu, to the cannolis in the dessert spread - all set on the beautiful DeLille Chateau grounds, the circular blanket of white rose petals covering the woodland grounds where S&C said "I do", S' beaded rose gold shawl, and the incredible garland centerpieces, carefully constructed by Chandin of Studio 3 Floral Design.
Favorite Moment: S had the biggest (prettiest) smile on her face the entire day, but it was especially radiant when I sent her down the gravel path to meet her groom.

Colorful Winery Wedding | Chateau Lill | A&J

I was introduced to A by my sister (they trained in ballet in college together), so even before I met her for the first time, I had heard so much about how beautiful she was, inside and out. She is that girl who instantly makes you feel like you've been friends forever and the girl who gives you the most genuine, radiant smile + a hug the first time you meet (which is relevant because those of you who know me know that I am a self-titled "hugger"). And J is her rad counterpart -- that guy who, upon finding out that I am a hugger, greeted me at their rehearsal with "I know you're a hugger, so we'll just start with a hug". So basically, several lowkey heart-bursting-with-happiness moments working with these two.

A&J rocked a Thursday wedding - at the beautiful Chateau Lill in Woodinville, WA - and from A's fairytale princess dress (and shoes!!) to the live band serenading their guests on the dance floor, it was honestly pretty dang perfect. But more than that, their ability to tackle adversity together as a team, and the raw, real respect + adoration they have for each other is something I consider to be a whole different level of perfection -- a glimpse into a marriage that will be just as beautiful as their wedding.

Color Scheme: bright jewel tonesFavorite Décor Elements: minimalistic DIY elements - created with love by A, the willingness to go BIG with bold blooms + textures, and J's burgundy suit (yes, this counts as a decor element).Favorite Moments: J losing it when he saw his bride walking down the aisle, watching A's infectious laughter bring joy to each and every guest throughout the day, and the 4 hours of live music (I love my DJs, but there is something so magical about live music at a wedding).
